Team 509 showcased the 2024 competition bot at the UNH STEM Fair reaching an audience of all ages. This helped spread word of FIRST of FIRST core values. After the STEM Fair the 2024 competition bot had the chance to showcase its abilities on the ice during the halftime of the hockey game.

Our Badge Blast event kicked off with an incredible start as we collaborated with Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes to help them earn their robotics badges. It was truly inspiring to see these young kids engage with robotics, demonstrating impressive creativity, teamwork, and a natural curiosity. The event was a powerful reminder of the potential within the next generation of innovators. 

Red Storm Team 509 worked with Chop Shop Team 166 and Mayham Team 8724 along side FIRST to bring show case our 2024 competition bot and FIRST to the Girl Scouts community and work to collaborate between the FIRST and Girls Scouts communities.

STEM Day is an event where our robotics team members head to the Town Library on a teacher workshop day to lead different activities for children between the ages of 5 and 10.

Red Storm has run a booth at a total of 7 civic elections. This is a great opportunity for us to interact with our community along with fundraising. At our booth we display some of our robots along with holding a raffle. Through this activity we are able to reach people of all ages given that it is a day off from school. At this event we reach thousands of members of our community. 

STEM Day is an event in which member of our robotics team go, on a teacher workshop day, to our Town's Library to do various activities with children of ages ranging from 9-15.

We went to the Public Library in Bedford and had the children work through a crime scene investigation. We were told that it was the best one yet!

We teamed with Team 3323 Potential Energy and the New Horizons Food Bank to hand out thanksgiving dinners to people who could not afford one!

We went to Litchfield Middle School and demoed our 2018-2019 robot to the local Cub Scouts. We set up challenges for to complete using small Vex robots and Spheros.
